Boniato Sweet Potato Slips

Boniato Sweet Potato Slips – 7 Slips, Pink-to-Burgundy Skin, Creamy White Flesh

$27 Free USPS shipping

We offer Boniato sweet potato slips — a lovely tropical-root starter with pink-to-burgundy skin and creamy white flesh. These slips are an easy way to begin growing a patch of this flavorful tuber.

Boniato is fluffier and less sweet than the common orange sweet potato, with a distinct chestnut-like flavor. It works well roasted, mashed, or added to soups and stews where a drier, nuttier texture is welcome.

Plants prefer full sun and regular water and do best in warm, frost-free conditions typical of tropical and subtropical climates. Vines spread and tubers form underground, so allow room for a sprawling patch.

A note from us: we’re C&M Homestead in Richmond Heights, Florida, and we’ve been growing tropical fruit for more than 12 years. Local pickup is available in Richmond Heights, FL.
